You can develop and debug your programs quickly and easily in Windows, then load them into a Sixnet Controller or industrial RTU. ISaGRAF provides a program simulator that shows how your program works before the actual startup. ISaGRAF program and system configuration files are stored in the Sixnet® controller or RTU, so you can find them years from now, or access them over a modem from your off-site office. The ISaGRAF "Workbench" lets you make program changes on the fly. Improve processes without waiting for shutdowns. Each block may be a ladder diagram, function diagram, statement program or instruction list. Sequential Function Charts organize your programs into tasks or sequential steps. IEC 1131 statement language uses simple text that is easy to learn and maintain. and creates an initialization file, "ISA.ini", in the \ISAWIN\EXE sub-directory.ISaGRAF combines ladder logic with powerful function blocks to give you the simplicity of a PLC, and the performance of a high-end process controller. Sub-directories are automatically created for the ISaGRAF functions. The default name for the ISaGRAF main directory is "\ISAWIN". Once all the ISaGRAF files have been copied, the ISaGRAF INSTALL program adds a "SIXNET ISaGRAF 3.4" path to the Windows Start menu. However, individual components can be added at a later date by re-installing the ISaGRAF Workbench. It is recommended that all components be included when installing ISaGRAF for the first time. The installation utility will ask whether the following components are required: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Insert the SIXNET CD into your CDROM drive and install the ISaGRAF Workbench.
